La campeona Dominicana de Boxeo, Dahiana Santana, partira´proximamente hacia las Vegas Nevada, con la finalidad de comenzar a entrenarse debidamente, con miras a su proxima pelea, donde defendera su titulo de la division pluma, de la Federacion Internacional de Boxeo (FIB). El tema lo habiamos abordado anteriormente, en virtud de que no nos habiamos percatado de que en Dominicana, existia una campeona del deporte de Fistiana.
En nuestra cronica anterior, tuvimos a bien resaltar las cualidades innatas, de la fogosa peleadora del pais, basados en datos extraidos de algunos periodicos extranjeros, amen de las consabidas notas que suelen salir por el internet. A la sazon la joven Santana, cuenta en su historial, con 3 coronas mundialistas, la Global Boxing Union, clasificacion gallo), asi como la del peso pluma de la WFC.
Recordamos que en año 2011, Dahiana sostuvo dos fieros combates, con la Norteamericana Stacey Reily, en el primer pleito, escenificado en la ciudad de Costa Rica, perdio´ por decision dividida de los jueces, ante la gran concurrencia que la daban por ganadora. Posteriormente ambas volvieron a enfrascarse cara a cara, esta vez en territorio norteamericano, donde la criolla pudo salir por la puerta ancha, ganandole a Stacey de manera convincente.
La Dominicana tiene que defender su corona de campeona, ante la Argentina Claudia Lopez, por lo cual partira proximamente hacia ese pais. Sera un nuevo reto para la Santana, donde una vez mas intentara imponerse, por la via que fuese necesaria. Vayan nuestros fervientes deseos, de que regrese a su lar nativo con un nuevo triunfo, para su beneplacito y
orgullo de todos los dominicanos.
La boxeadora Dominicana, vive humildamente en Republica Dominicana, la cual resalta las infimas bolsas de dinero, que le han pagado, con lo cual ni siquiera le alcanza para continuar su carrera de psicologia, en una universidad del pais. Conjuntamente con otras peleadoras del patio, se han estado quejando del poco monto que le ofrecen, al momento de salir triunfantes en cada uno de sus combates.
Aperentemente, en ningun pais o lugares donde las valientes jovenes exhiben sus cualidades, no son bien remuneradas o pagadas, por lo cual no estan tomando en serio, el trabajo desplegado por estas. Entendemos que si quieren tomar en consideracion, el lucrativo negocio de esta disciplina deportiva, tienen necesariamente que buscarle solucion al conflicto de las contendoras, ya que el poco monto de dinero que reciben por sus peleas, no les alcanzan ni para cubrir sus mas intimas necesidades. Lidom introduce cambios en sorteo
de nativos
Será suspendido por un año el
jugador escogido por un equipo y que luego se niegue a participar con el mismo.
La Liga de Béisbol Profesional de la República
Dominicana (LIDOM) introdujó algunos cambios en el sorteo de nativos de cara al
próximo torneo de béisbol profesional 2013-2014 dedicado al expresidente de los
Tigres del Licey, Miguel Heded Azar In Memoriam.
Durante una
reunión de la Junta Directiva de la Lidom y los principales ejecutivos de
los equipos, se acordó modificar el
sistema de elección del Draft de Nativos con relación a los turnos de los
conjuntos en cada ronda, el cual será de acuerdo a las posiciones en la serie
regular del campeonato, empezando por el
primer lugar.
Lo que
constituye un premio en adición al valor metálico que recibe el club que gana
la temporada regular.
Según
establecía el artículo 10 del reglamento de ese sorteo, los turnos de los
equipos para cada ronda serían “al azar”.
También, se
aprobó que todo jugador incluido en la lista de elegibles y es seleccionado por
un equipo, pero que posteriormente se niega a participar con el mismo, será
suspendido por un año.
En tanto, los
sorteos de importados y novatos mantienen el sistema al azar que han venido
operando en los últimos años.
A la
actividad celebrada en la oficina de la lidom del Estadio Quisqueya, asistieron
por la liga, el doctor Leonardo Matos Berrido, presidente; Vitelo Mejía,
vicepresidente legal; Alejandro Peña, vicepresidente de mercadeo; José Enrique
Machado, secretario; José Manuel Busto, tesorero; y Jorge Torres, director
ejecutivo.
Asimismo,
Miguel Guerra, Miguel Ángel Fernández, Fernando Ravelo y Ulises Cabrera por el
Licey; Winston Llenas, y Tomás Jimenéz por las Águilas; José Miguel Bonetti y
Jesús Mejía por el Escogido; José Manuel Mallén y Pavel Aguiló por las
